Week of April 27th, 2009

4/27 (Mon) - Abs 2,3,4 ; 1/2 mile walk treadmill
4/28 (Tues) - Shred 1; Blowflex (my plan was to run, but RAIN)
4/29 (Wed) - 3.7 mile run outside (rhj hurt - because of Shred yesterday?)
4/30 (Thu) - 3.5 mile run (rjh pain but ran thru it)
5/1 (Fri) - Abs 3,4 ; Blowflex
5/2 (Sat) - 3 mile run outside
5/3 (Sun) - Abs 1,3,4 ; Blowflex (too much rhj pain to run)

Total miles for the week: 10.2 miles
Shred: 1

Note: Right hip joint back to it's old tricks of hurting. Actually had an appt. w/ my Doctor Friday just to go over bloodwork and I asked him it my joint is permanently damaged from my Vitamin D deficiency. He assured me that it will get completely better, it just takes time and I have to to RESPECT MY HIP. I need to avoid things that will aggrevate it - like, I found, jumping jacks. So that is my plan...I'm going to respect my hip.

Week of April 20th, 2009

4/20 (Mon) - Shred 1; Abs 2 (RAIN!)
4/21 (Tues) - 4 miles outside
4/22 (Wed) - Abs 3, 4; Shred 1
4/23 (Thu) - 2 mile run (my hip hurt & I was tired too)
4/24 (Fri) - rest, not feeling great
4/25 (Sat) - 3 miles; Blowflex
4/26 (Sun) -
5 miles! yeah me

NOTES:
4/21- RHJ felt good after doing Shred yestereday. I didn't go all out of the jacks and the side lunges, must have helped.
4/26 - felt great running, also did a lot of manual labor in the yard after it.

Total of 14 miles for the week; Shred 2 times

Week of April 13th, 2009

4/13 (Mon) - Much needed day of rest
4/14 (Tues) - Shred 1; 2 mile run on treadmill (rainy*)
4/15 (Wed) - Shred 1; Abs 1 & 2 (RAIN AGAIN**!)
4/16 (Thu) - 3.5 miles outside*** (it quit raining!!)
4/17 (Fri) - Abs 2,3,4 ; Blowflex (had to rest hipjoint)
4/18 (Sat) - over 7 hours of yardwork...
4/19 (Sun) - 4 miles outside

Notes:
*4/14 - woke up with my RHJ achey, maybe the rainy dampness?? It hasn't bothered me in a couple of weeks.
**4/15 - Dito from 4/14
***4/16- Dito from 4/14, not sure what is up, maybe my sleep number needs to be increased.

Week in review- I ended up Friday & Saturday to be in a bit of rhj pain. Goods suggested that I've over did it w/ the Shred DVD, and I think he is right. I think Jumping jacks and side lunges took a toll on my hip.

Week of April 6th, 2009

4/7 (Tues) - Shred DVD 1; 2 mile run outside (WOW!)*
4/8 (Wed) - Abs 1, 2; Blowflex
4/9 (Thu) - lazy day
4/10 (Fri) - Shred DVD 1; 2 mile run outside
4/11 (Sat) - Abs 2,3 & 4**!!! ; 4.5 mile run
4/12 (Sun) - Shred DVD 1; 2 mile run; walked all over zoo

*4/7 note- WOW isn't the word for it. perfect workout. I did stop the DVD when they were on the last cardio segment so I could do my run. I already see an improvement in my pushups- I can almost do a 1/2 of sissy one. Baby steps.
**4/11 - first time doing session 4 of Abs - Ouch, but in a good way.
